Will *.id expire? How do we know when and how to renew?

Hi, when I registered my marios.id I was under impression it would expire at some point (2years?). I never thought of it again, then today I stumbled upon my profile (https://explorer.blockstack.org/name/marios.id) and there I see a last_renewed counter which made me think: I should check whether I need to renew my *id.

I read everywhere that I need to use CLI (wish I could do it over browser.blockstack.org) but nowhere I could see how I can check for expiry date.

Will I be alerted when I get close to the date?

We don’t currently alert people as to the expiration of their ids. You can add your voice to this issue here: https://github.com/blockstack/blockstack-explorer/issues/29

Mario, your Id expires roughly on 1/19/2020.

I created a pull request on github for the blockstack browser to include that information. Feel free to send a better design :slight_smile:
