Where is the app logic stored in blockstack architecture?

Where is the app logic stored in blockstack architecture since we are not using smart contracts.

All business logic runs in the front-end. In smart contract-like apps such as Misthos, for example, a quorum of participants figure out what they’re going to do off-chain and then generate a multisig transaction any time they execute a decision that affects the participants’ funds.
