  • Monthly Cadence:
    • HeroGamer slightly preferred this over flexible timelines.
    • Provides clear framework and expectations.
  • 360-Degree Feedback Happening Now:
    • Surveys for stewards, mentors, and recipients.
    • Informs impact report and future cohort improvements.
  • Cohort 4 Timeline:
    • Still TBD, targeting April 2026.
    • Need to complete current cohort analysis first
    • Budget considerations pending.

AI Tools for SIP Process Enhancement

  • SIP AI Assistant (click Action button):

    • Idea: Pre-populated prompts for SIP learning.
    • Current tool is a huge step in the right directly.
    • But still needs iteration for true interactivity.
  • Two types of AI Assistant functions proposed:

    1. SIP writing assistant.
    2. SIP learning assistant.

    Similar approach could benefit grants process

SIP Engagement & Process Evolution

  • Significant improvement in SIP engagement over past year:
    • Better tools, structured processes, video calls vs spaces.
    • More inclusive process with meaningful community input.
  • New SIP PR Approach in Repository:
    • Draft SIPs visible alongside ratified ones in table format.
    • Aligns with Bitcoin BIP repository approach.
    • Surfaces proposals that need community involvement most.

Privacy & Technology Discussion

  • Xenitron’s Encrypted NFT SIP-038:
    • Nearing completion after review process.
  • Ethereum Stealth Addresses Proposal (ERC-5564):
    • Allows private sending without revealing sender address.
  • Crypto Adoption Focus:
    • Entertainment/gaming focus over pure privacy narrative.
