Will .id be the only TLD for Blockstack? If there are others, can I claim mine with my .id TLD? I don’t want to have to buy more TLDs…
Yes, there are going to be more TLDs. Users can create TLDs too – not just Blockstack. You can read a bit more here: https://blockstack.org/docs/namespaces
Your .id name will not automatically give you the same name in other TLDs. The main reasons for allowing a plurality of TLDs is to keep the namespace expansive and allow many users to have subjectively “good” names.
