Hey everyone, big news: The Stacks Foundation officially launches today!
As you may already know, the foundation will be furthering the mission of building a user owned internet. However, it will be operating independently of Blockstack PBC, which is a major step toward decentralization for the Stacks ecosystem.
It’s worth noting that the foundation is the product of months of research led by Lane Rettig and the Governance Working Group. Thanks to them and all community members who have contributed their time to these efforts. The Stacks Foundation would not be possible without you. Looking forward to more exciting updates from the foundation in the coming months!
