The October Town Hall brought a wave of updates across the Stacks ecosystem — from new governance tools and upcoming testnets to product launches, research milestones, and a packed global events calendar.
Muneeb
Muneeb opened with reflections on the new structure and improved operational efficiency now taking shape across Stacks entities downstream of SIP-031. He noted it’s a strong moment in the market for Stacks to shine, thanks to the real products coming online — teasing exciting developments ahead, and noting this week’s pilot launch of Dual Stacking.
Alex — Stacks Labs
Alex announced that Dual Stacking and Bitcoin Yield go live tomorrow at 10 a.m. The current rewards program ends with PoX cycle 121, and a shorter 5-day rewards cycle will begin with cycle 122. This marks the first polished product to launch from Labs, offering users a new way to earn Bitcoin yield while boosting Stacks utility.
Adriano — Tech, Stacks Labs
Adriano shared that the Clarity 4 testnet begins early next week, a major milestone toward improved network performance. He highlighted ongoing work on PoX-5 and emphasized a balanced focus on shipping faster while maintaining safety and research rigor.
Rena — Stacks Endowment
Rena reaffirmed the Endowment’s mission: to grow the ecosystem, strengthen liquidity, and fund long-term programs. Current efforts include:

Andre — Product and Roadmap, Stacks Labs

sBTC: Over 5,000 BTC locked with ~3% average yield; upgrades coming soon, including sPoX and signer rotation.

Yield Vaults: A flagship vault is in the works to simplify DeFi participation and bootstrap new yield strategies.

Dual Stacking: Lets BTC and STX holders earn BTC yield, directly linking BTC inflows to STX utility. The model is finalized with closed testing beginning soon.
Rick — Growth, Stacks Labs
Rick announced the relaunch of community programs including STX Legion and Legion Guild, both going live next week. These initiatives support Stacks’ growth through local education, ecosystem-specific outreach, and institutional onboarding — all part of a broader effort to expand Bitcoin yield awareness and participation.
