Core Announcements

  • Circle X-Reserve USDC: Launching in the next few weeks. Migration from aUSDC/Allbridge is planned; Allbridge will be deprecated. Liquidity will be seeded on Stacks DEXes for STX↔USDC swaps.

  • WalletConnect Integration: Live for builders, enabling broader dApp connectivity.

  • Chainhook 2.0 (Hiro): Rebuilt for speed, stability, and usability. Start_block/lookback removed; hooks now begin at enable. Documentation needs clarification; potential “single-block lookback” discussed.

  • Institutional Stacking: Test deployments underway. Strong interest in BTC yield, though market caution remains.

  • Privacy / Selective Disclosure: Research ongoing, focusing on compliant selective privacy (not a mixer).

USDC / X-Reserve Updates

  • Bridging: Via Ethereum (~15 minutes for ~80 confirmations), then instant on Stacks. Future Solana/L2 options planned.

  • On-Chain Swaps: STX↔USDC swaps on DEXes (e.g., Bitflow) are instant.

  • Liquidity Migration: Ecosystem apps expected to adopt Circle USDC to avoid splits.

Developer & Ecosystem Updates

  • Hacker House / DevConnect: WalletConnect buzz and Chainhook 2.0 alpha/beta received positive feedback. Content and interviews with all hackers coming soon.

  • X-402 + sBTC: Hacker House project integrating X-402 for agentic payments; not Labs-led yet.
