A SIP’s consideration determines the particular steps needed to ratify the SIP and incorporate it into the Stacks blockchain. Different SIP considerations have different criteria for ratification. A SIP can have more than one consideration, since a SIP may need to be vetted by different users with different domains of expertise.
SIP considerations include:
- Technical
- Economic
- Governance
- Ethics
- Diversity
We are looking for community members with domain expertise in the above considerations to kickstart various SIP (unofficial) working groups. The goal is for these working groups to eventually become official Consideration Advisory Boards that evaluate the technical, economic, governance, ethical, and diversity aspects of SIP submissions.
Consideration Advisory Boards play a critical role in recommending SIPs to the Steering Committee, which is responsible for deciding which SIPs to incorporate into the Stacks blockchain.
