Maybe I’m being naive, but there’s nothing on requestforsocialnetworks.com that requires that grant applications utilise blockstack.
Is this a philanthropic fund which aims to make the world a better place, or is this an investment in blockstack’s own business, trying to capture, incubate, control the next thing after facebook, in order to reward its token holders.
In short, if my team believes that blockchains have limited use and we should be doing more, cheaply with traditional web standards, is my project outside of scope?
Well I’m trying to build one now. Authentication and storage layer working well but It’s really hard to make relations between the site data without any aggregator. Jude told me that on the slack channel but centralized solutions doesn’t make sense to me. So I decided to create my own blockchain to keep relations through websocket api. I’m working on it right now.
