Recovery - can't find email

Hi there

It’s been a while since I opened up Blockstack and I’m being asked for a recovery key. And telling me I would have received it via email.

I can’t see any emails at all from blockstack that contain any keys. Will they have come from a blockstack email address?

Hi Brett. The from address for this email would be [email protected]

It also depends on how long ago the ID was created, as the email backup of the key was only released in May 2018. If you think the ID is older than that, you’ll need your original 12 words. Hope this helps.

Ahhh - found the 12 words. Filed under “localhost” in my password manager.
