The Blockstack forum has served as a place for bringing up ways to improve App Mining, but it is not designed to be a place to perform operational tasks in public and fix issues related to improving App Mining. Github, on the other hand, is great because it is an organized place where work can be done in public and coordination can occur in an open source way.
Excited to welcome folks in the Blockstack community to the new App Mining repo, to read the README, comment on current issues, and help improve the system as a whole:

Thrilled to push App Mining into a more transparent operational domain, to further decentralize it, and to improve it each month.
