It would be great if Blockstack had an FAQ, because I know I’ve already asked this but …

What are the constraints when attempting to register a name on .id?
(eg the max length and other character string limitations)

Name restrictions

  • only lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores
  • max length: 60 characters

Hey Cryptocracy! Great question, here is your answer:

max length is 37 characters. allowed characters are base-40 (a-z, 0-9, _, -, +)
