[Mac OS] when I open the blockstack app it launches a new Chrome window and nothing else

When I open the Blockstack app on my Mac OS 10.13.1 it launches a new Chrome window and nothing else, am I doing anything wrong

Can you confirm that there is a Blockstack icon in your system tray? There’s also a bug in chrome recently that just opens blank new windows. Restarting chrome might help.

If restarting Chrome doesn’t work, rebooting your mac will!

Not necessary, having similar issues and I have reboots multiple times.

Try putting the link into Safari. I have the opposite issue, Safari opens but I want to use Chrome and Chrome is blank.
