Gm everyone
I’ve been building something to solve a problem I kept running into while exploring the Stacks/Bitcoin ecosystem:
Discovering apps is still too fragmented and unclear.
You often have to:
- scroll through X threads
- rely on word of mouth
- guess which apps are trustworthy
So I decided to build BTCAppHub, a simple platform to make app discovery easier, clearer, and more structured.
What BTCAppHub Does
BTCAppHub is designed to help users:
- Discover apps across the Bitcoin ecosystem
- Evaluate trust using simple signals (e.g. audit status, risk level)
- Explore by category (DeFi, Gaming, Analytics, Dev Tools, Education)
- Find what’s active via Trending, Featured, and Recently Added sections
Current Features (V1)
-
Homepage with:
- Trending
- Featured
- Recently Added
-
Individual app pages with:
- description
- links
- basic trust context
-
Category-based browsing
-
App submission flow (simple form to list a project)
Why I Built This
I believe discovery is one of the biggest bottlenecks for the ecosystem.
Great apps exist, but:
- users can’t easily find them
- builders struggle to get visibility
BTCAppHub aims to bridge that gap.
What I’d Love Feedback On
I’m still early, so I’d really appreciate honest feedback from the community:
-
Discovery UX
- Does the homepage layout (Trending / Featured / Recent) make sense?
- What feels missing?
-
Trust Signals
- What signals would actually help you decide if an app is safe to try?
- (e.g. audits, usage metrics, team info, etc.)
-
Categories
- Are the current categories enough?
- What should be added or restructured?
-
Submission Flow
- What would make builders more likely to submit their apps?
What’s Coming Next
Planned improvements:
- verified badges / stronger trust signals
- better ranking logic
- richer app profiles
- analytics & usage indicators
- tighter integration with Stacks ecosystem tools
Call to Builders
If you’re building on Stacks/Bitcoin:
- You can submit your app
- Get early visibility
- Help shape how discovery works

Would love to hear your thoughts, even critical ones.
If this becomes useful, it’ll be because of community input.
Thanks.
