How do you register other namespaces besides ID?

If you view all names on the Blockstack Explorer you see a list of other namespaces besides id, such as helloworld, podcast, graphite, and blockstack.

  • How do you register one of these?
  • Are there other available namespaces besides these?
  • Who controls what namespaces are available?

Anyone can create a new one

For non .id and .blockstack names, you can only register them through the CLI. .graphite is a namespace I created for Graphite with plans for use for enterprise customers, but anyone can register a name if they are willing to go through the CLI and pay the necessary BTC.
