Grants portal switching back to GitHub for now

Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to test out and share feedback on the new Stacks Grants portal so far. As previously discussed, the goal of the migration to Grant.io was to create a custom grant experience that would make it easier to submit applications, share feedback, and engage with other Stacks community members on grants.

After working with the platform for the past few weeks, we’ve decided to switch back to the original Stacks Grants GitHub repo for the foreseeable future. While Grant.io offers many promising features for community building, we found that the features designed to promote transparency and engagement still need some work, i.e. the ability to publicly comment and share feedback on applications, which is a critical part of the grants experience.

The Stacks Grants repo should once again be operational by the end of this week. If you have any questions or further feedback on the application process, please feel free to share them on this thread. Thanks again!
