I’ve registered the forum account with my Blockstack credentials.
My question now is which password is necessary for enabling two factor authentication?
The Blockstack password doesn’t appear to be valid.
Hi @Sonic-XL, Two-Factor-Authentication for the forum can be activated when you create an account via Sign Up and set a forum password, which would be the password you’re being prompted to enter.
Understandable, but isn’t the idea behind Blockstack I can have my data decentralized, thus maintaining my privacy, security and freedom? Signing up will have the forum store my data in an old fashioned way.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
You are correct, @Sonic-XL, and login with Blockstack is still an option, but I believe the Two-Factor-Authentication feature works only when you sign up and set a password. Maybe one of our admins can can chime in to clarify (cc @larry @jackzampolin).
