Controlling Blockstack with device keys

A few things to start a discussion about Blockstack and device keys:

  • Is it planned to implement a key per device to control/renew/change a name?
  • Is m/n multisig planned?
  • How does a device key get revoked? n-1?

Keybase uses paper keys to balance loss of keys, backup etc. Would be a thing here too :slight_smile:

If a user decides to control their identity with M-of-N keys, that user could change the entire set of keys with M keys. So if the user has a 3-of-4 setup, then the user could switch to 2-of-3 or 3-of-5 by authorizing with 3 out of 4 of the keys.
