First off, I am not much of a programmer, more of a writer - futurist minded person. I wanted to start a brainstorm with my ideas about a Blockstack phone: free to use, open source, spy proof, awesome. I’ll just rant on a couple thoughts and hopefully it will spark some new ideas.
There seem to be a couple of Linux phones in development: KDE Plasma Mobile and Purism Librem Phone. These are supposed to be completely Linux, but the hardware is difficult to develop.
If there were a fully Linux phone, Blockstack could conceivably use a really simple calling and text app. It might not even use phone numbers, but the name.id or some other created domain (name.blockphone). Who’s ready to end the need for phone numbers?!
Anybody have thoughts on it since I haven’t seen it discussed here? Have a good one.
