Collections are currently in developer preview and have no UI in the browser. However, I really like the thinking behind @friedger’s App Mining proposal and would welcome more ideas for how we can incentivize collections and rank apps better.
The primary challenge I see: We should encourage use of Collections that adds value to users vs. encouraging devs to add Collections simply to increase rankings. We also should encourage experimentation with different types of Collections and schema updates while encouraging consolidation so users have a better experience.
Please share feedback on the above proposal or add alternate ideas for Collection ranking and incentives. Thanks.
