Animal Kingdom Tutorial not working

Hi there. Working through the Animal Kingdom Tutorial I ran into problems.

All went fine up untill step 3. of Start your Animal Kingdom DApp at https://docs.blockstack.org/develop/zero_to_dapp_2.html (see screenshot with error)

I had problems after pressing Done (nothing happened). Refreshed the page and clicked Your Kingdom in the menu. The error shown is what happened.

The host I’m using is:
steven@steven-K501LX:~/Development/animal-kingdom$ uname -srm
Linux 4.15.0-55-generic x86_64

I do have the output of the npm install available, but I can’t provide you with that information. I’m not allowed to create a Topic with more than 2 links in it…

BTW I’m using stevengort.id.blockstack as ID.

Hi Steven, let me see if I can test this for you and see what is happening. Looks like you are working on Ubuntu.

Hi @stevengort I was not able to reproduce this. I was running a released version of Ubuntu which is what we test on.

Operating System: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Kernel: Linux 4.15.0-1032-aws

Architecture: X86-64

Fair to say Ubuntu is pretty sensitive as it doesn’t naturally run react apps which what animal-kingdom is. You may get better results in your environment by setting an env with this:
