2. Key Meeting Highlights

Development Updates

  • Jason demonstrated recent work and new features, including a new guide for easy x402 endpoint creation.

  • Links all resources together for streamlined setup

  • Website updates showing progression toward a comprehensive platform.

  • Multiple pull requests in progress, including a PR to Coinbase to add Stacks as an official x402 ecosystem.

  • CAIP-19 specification for stacks submitted, creating a standard defining Stacks NFTs and FTs in a chain-agnostic way.

AIBTC MCP Server and Tools Launch

  • AIBTC official MCP server now live at https://npmjs.com/package/@aibtc/mcp-server.

    • Supports ~50 tools with understanding of x402 endpoints

    • Moved from original stack402 agent repo to AIBTC organization.

    • Users of original package will get update notice

  • Radar app and x402 Hunter tools deployed

    • Research different projects and implementation suggestions

    • Track x402 endpoints with additional information beyond x402 scan

    • Built for specific purpose of understanding ecosystem landscape

x402 Facilitator and Sponsor Relay Progress

  • Sponsor relay achieved first successful transaction this week on testnet.

    • Enables gasless transactions - user forms transaction, relay pays stacks fees.

    • User doesn’t need to hold stacks tokens

  • Facilitator template repository created with examples for Express JS and Hono implementations.

    • Direct guides for base, Solana, and new developers

    • Falls back to EVM when stacks not detected

Community Demos and Endpoints

  • Hope for more people to demo on calls - contact Cedar to arrange.

  • STX Agent by Cedar and showcased.

    • Autonomous service calling x402 endpoints daily

    • Connected to 15-20 endpoints with own stacks wallet using MCP server

    • Creates daily reports and posts screenshots to X account autonomously

    • Costs fraction of stacks per day for paid endpoints

  • Publius’ prediction market

    • Bitcoin-secured Bitcoin prediction markets

    • Smart contract pays out based on Bitcoin price at specific blocks

    • Users can create own prediction markets and set up features

  • Need AI agents to come online next, to complement growing endpoint ecosystem.

Stacks x402 V2

  • Stacks x402 V2 almost ready by Tony, currently testing.

  • Currently testing, will be compliant with Coinbase schemas

  • Enables incorporation into Coinbase official repo

  • Opens possibilities for new developers to join ecosystem

  • V1 users can continue using existing version

  • Jason ready to play with V2 and provide feedback

  • Tony seeking community feedback on TypeScript version of facilitator

    • Currently Go developer, but TypeScript might be easier for sponsorship transactions

    • Relay code already in TypeScript deployed on Cloudflare

    • Could keep Go facilitator separate from TypeScript relay as signer

  • ERC-8004 and 8001 updates discussed, focusing on agent creation and discovery.

Alternative dev tools discussion

  • Workflow visualization using Vibecraft, showing who’s working on what with color-coded status.

  • OpenCode: supports different LLMs, multiple models as judges

  • Agent Zero: open source, builds itself as you go, memory profile, learns from iterations

  • Tony considers Claude with right context and prompts “pretty much a developer now”

  • AI BTC Team breakthrough with Opus 4.5 making code writing trustworthy

  • Subscription-based usage more affordable than straight API calls

Things to Celebrate

  • Successful launch of AIBTC official MCP server.

  • First successful sponsor relay transaction on testnet.

  • Stacks x402 V2 launching soon (this week hopefully!)

  • AI Tools and Workflows shared to up-skill everyone
