Hi everyone,
A quick update from the StackStream side.
We started out building a payment streaming protocol for Stacks. Over the last few weeks, we’ve spent time sharpening not just the product, but also the message behind it.
The idea we’re leaning into is simple: real-time money, settled on Bitcoin.
With the Nakamoto upgrade, payments can update in near real time. Through sBTC, those payments can be made in Bitcoin itself. Instead of waiting for a payday or coordinating manual transfers, funds begin flowing the moment a stream is created.
We’ve also refreshed the product experience to focus more on the value and less on the mechanics. The goal is to make it immediately clear why streaming payments matter, not just how they work.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring things like cross-chain payouts and private streams. Those are directions we’re interested in, but we’re careful not to promise what isn’t live today.
If you have a few minutes, I’d genuinely appreciate your feedback—both on the product and on how we’re communicating it.
Thanks for reading.
