A Browser Plug-In to Encrypt Your Content Before Posting It To Social Networks

This is currently a Chrome plug-in and I’ve been using it with a couple of my social media accounts. It encrypts your content before posting to social media and then only folks using the plug in can read your content–i.e. Zuckerberg and Google cannot.

There are two modes–one which appears to use a common key and another which requires a DH key exchange between people you permit to see your content.

It’s not a Blockstack App–yet, but it would certainly make an interesting play since Blockstack furnishes a lot of cool infrastructure that could help super charge this.

Obviously there’s going to be lots of challenges for these folks if this gains steam, but I figure it’s worth showing the community what others are doing to improve privacy.
