Would like to share the recent effort we kick-started, to grow & expand the SIP process
(SIP stands for Stacks Improvement Proposal). We have been having weekly SIP calls for the past 9 weeks now, every Friday 11AM EST

This week we had a general update.
SIP-016 by Friedger & Dan should have met the Activation criteria, will be checked and ratified soon.
And open floor for anyone to comment anything. One thing that was brought up was around the topic of what’s a hard fork, and if in the Stacks 2.1 communication we can ensure the ‘message is clear’ about exact what it is and what it isn’t re hard/soft fork wise. So we are as clear and transparent as possible and have “all community’s expectations & understandings are aligned”. -
